Another year has begun and I hate to say it, but I feel both happy and sad. Happy because I feel that 2009 holds tons of promises and opportunities to further where I’m at today, but then I’m also sad of the year that’s past. The memories that were made and the time you can never regain.
Of course, the New Year brings along the traditional making of resolutions to change a bad habit or to better our well being. And I will admit that I do the same thing, but instead of resolutions, I call them goals because it seems like they’re easier to keep that way if their stated as personal goals.
After much consideration, I’ve come up with a surprisingly short list of writing goals I aim to reach for 2009:
*Write a story a month (to include completing the sequels to Charmed & a special themed anthology;
*Revise To Dance with a Demon and place it on an editor’s desk for consideration;
*Find a publishing house for Blue Streak & Nerds Are Freaks Too!
