All week long in my author yahoo group, Scribes Unleashed our theme is our favorite romantic scenes from book, movies, or TV. Of course, I racked my brain and at first I couldn’t really come up with anything. And then I remembered two scenes that I think I could just sit and rewind over and over all day. Of course, I wanted to share them all with you so I will post them here as well.
One of my favorite movies of all time is “Sixteen Candles” starring Molly Ringwald. The ending features one of the most romantic scenes where Samantha is picked up by her high school crush Jake Ryan and then taken home where they celebrate her 16th birthday, which everyone has forgotten throughout the whole movie. In the final scene they sit on top of the dining room table with a birthday cake glowing between them and he asks her to make a wish and she tells him its already come true.

This is the classic case of good girl loving the bad boy, so of course Stella goes downstairs. Seeing her, Stanley falls to his knees. She leans into him and practically claws his back. He lifts her up and begs her never to leave him again.
