I wanted one for the same reason.
I had the red Dell until my husband decided I needed his Acer instead because it has more memory.
I've not used the web cam yet.
The strangest thing you'll find is after spending a few days on the mini, then you go back to the full size — it's going to look monstrous. Like going from a 19" television to a drive-in movie.
