Do you have a naughty story you want the world to read? Does the story feature a pirate? How about a digital love affair? Or maybe even a seduction in ink and paper? If you do or thought about writing one with one of these themes, you’re in luck! My publisher Ellora’s Cave Publishing has just announced their call for submissions for themed projects for 2011!
Submitting a themed story is a great way to get published my Ellora’s Cave. Not only is it faster to hear back from an editor but the submission pool is generally smaller than the publisher’s open call for submissions.
So if you have an erotic story you think will fit their submission guidelines don’t wait! On your mark, get ready, submit for the following themed stories:
AHOY! ~ The theme is PIRATES: historical, contemporary, futuristic/space, or your interpretation.
~ Length 18K – 45K words.
~ Deadline for outside submissions is January 15, 2011. Earlier is preferred.
~ Stories will release in June 2011.
SEX BYTES~ The theme is tech sex: Texting, IM, Skype, online dating—all the ways to meet and fall in lust and love via modern technology.
~ Length 18K – 45K words.
~ Deadline for outside submissions is April 30, 2011. Earlier is preferred.
~ Stories will release in October 2011.
LOVE LETTERS~ The theme is love letters, cards, diaries.
~ Length 18K – 45K words.
~ Deadline for outside submissions is August 31, 2011. Earlier is preferred.
~ Stories will release in January/February 2012.
OH, CANADA!
~ Story must be set in Canada, at least one of the main characters must be Canadian, and the story should have a Canadian “flavor” (slang, customs, holidays, and such).
~ Any length 7K – 125K words.
~ Deadline for outside submissions is September 2011. Earlier is preferred.
~ Stories will release throughout 2011.
