Ellora’s Cave has given its reader convention website an upgrade! Personally, I didn’t see anything wrong with the old Romanticon 2011 website, but I admit I love this one. I guess the site was upgraded to give conventioneers a better taste of the annual convention held in Akron, Ohio at the end of September.
If you’ve never been to a readers/writers conference, this one is at the top of the list. Why? For one thing for the price readers receive so much in return. Everyone receives a swag bag filled with books and other items, the dinner parties are amazing, I’ve learned something from every workshop I’ve attended and all the authors are really down-to-earth and accessible.
And yes, I am scheduled to host another workshop. This year I’m going a little tamer. I’m conducting a workshop on Discovering the Lost Art of Love Letters.
So if you’ve always wanted to attend a publisher conference, I would suggest you pop your cherry with Romanticon 2011. You. Will. Not. Regret it!
