Nerd, geek, square or drip are all names for the socially awkward amongst us considered to be unattractive or unappealing and universally shunned for centuries. And supposedly destined to live out their lives unmated and alone, always on the outside looking in.
But surprising enough this isn’t entirely true. According to a recent study conducted by the University of California-Davis, nerds are actually women’s go to guy. Of course, women love their beefcake, but results show that women found men with brain power much more appealing for the long haul because of their ability to better provide for a future family.
Well I didn’t need a research study to tell me that nerds are hot. I’ve had mad crushes on intellectuals ever since I was knee high and a dollar short. And their appeal hasn’t abated.

Poking around on Google and found this: David Duchovny graduated from Princeton University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. He received a Master of Arts, also in English Literature, from Yale University and subsequently began work on a Ph.D. that remains unfinished. The title of his uncompleted doctoral thesis was Magic and Technology in Contemporary Poetry and Prose.
Classic nerd in hiding! I wish he would finish his doctoral thesis sounds interesting.
