It’s that time of the month again! I’m blogging today over on Romancing the Jock Blog! Here’s a portion of the article:)
The NFL is entering week 8 which officially marks American football’s midseason. Already we’ve seen dozens of players, many of them starters, getting knocked up and bruised up so badly they’ve ended up on the injured reserved list indefinitely.
And no one feels the owners’ and coaches’ pain when they lose their star quarterback or running back than those of us playing Fantasy Football. I felt Jay Cutler and Julio Jones’ season ending injuries all the way down to the white meat.
Yes…yes, I know Fantasy Football is only an interactive competition akin to an online video game, but to those of us who play, its serious business. Waivers fly faster than a pair of Jimmy Choo’s at a Bloomingdale’s Basement sale and emotions run high if you don’t act fast enough (I’m Romancing the Jock’s Commissioner) to approve a trade or make sure Week 2′s points are correctly tallied.
