Building Relationships Around Books will hold their annual Reader’s Retreat in St. Louis and yours truly has been asked to be one of the featured authors. YEAH! Building Relationships Around Books or B.R.A.B is an online book club where the common interest or in my case addiction is diverse books.
B.R.A.B’s Reading Warriors Retreat is in its third year and brings together primarily African Authors and voracious readers from all walks of life who love diverse reads. The retreat is scheduled for the weekend of October 10-12 in St. Louis, Missouri at the Embassy Suites: St. Louis Airport. This year’s theme is Valentine’s and featured authors include: Niobia Bryant, Altonya Washington,Angelina Menchan, Crystal Hubbard, Roy Glenn, KoKo Brown, Blue Saffire, Aja, Stephanie Nicole Norris, Anita Davis,Lindsay Evans, Ann Clay, Michelle Hardin, Tina Martin, Jacki Kelly, and J.L Campbell.
The posted itinerary is chocked with like a blast with cocktail hours, a keynote speech by Altonya Washington, Masquerade Ball, trivia games, lip sync battles, author panels and even trips to Dred Scott Courthouse and St. Louis Arch. For the full itinerary visit the retreat’s official website.
