Napoleon and his trademark mohawk
I don’t want to get too sappy here, but I just wanted to let you all know one of the reasons why I haven’t updated my blog in a few weeks.
I lost my pal and road dog (He rode along on my grand southern tour!) Napoleon. His passing hit me pretty hard because it was both sudden and unexpected. One day he was healthy the next the vet diagnosed him with a burst hematoma. Unfortunately, he was just too weak from loss of blood and he passed away two hours after leaving surgery on May 24.
And for the past couple of weeks, I’ve found myself out of the groove and haven’t really felt like writing.
But of course I won’t be down for long. I hope to have another self-published title, Jezebel, out for you guys out this summer. So stay tuned…
